Internet Evolution: Google’s Kansas City Blue’s

Entrepreneurs recently flocked to Kansas City for an experimental implementation of Google gigabit fiber. The Kansas City Startup Village (KCSV) is using that fiber, and Techstars co-founder Brad Feld is getting into the act by buying a home where entrepreneurs can live and work.

But here is a dirty little secret: If you already have a Kansas City business and want to be the first on your fiber block, you are out of luck. Google is giving priority to residential installations. Here are some other things that Google can learn from America’s first fiber city, Chattanooga.
