This is not a rhetorical question. Apparently, at an IHOP outside of Boston, the waitstaff is asking for your license before sitting down to order your food. This is apparently to prevent diners from leaving before paying their checks, but as you can imagine diners aren’t too thrilled about this policy. Maybe they need to choose another restaurant?
Jon Stewart spoke about how Cyber Monday this week (the heaviest day of online shopping) would be followed by “Identity Theft Tuesday.” I guess this is yet another indication about how the Daily Show is so good at anticipating real-life trends.
